Kim Petras’ debut album, Feed the Beast, announced

Get ready to feast your ears on Kim Petras’ highly anticipated debut album, Feed the Beast, finally arriving on June 23 after a few delays. The singer teased the announcement on social media, sharing a striking image of a sharp sword resting against rugged rocks. As if that wasn’t intriguing enough, Petras also shared a mysterious medieval mood board over the weekend, featuring grayscale images of a knight’s helmet, metal shield, and various swords. The story is about to begin, and we can’t wait to see what musical treasures Petras has in store for us.

Kim Petras’ debut album debut record is set to be released on June 23 and will mark her first full-length project under Republic Records. Before this, she had released a string of successful singles, including “Brrr” and “Alone,” featuring rap icon Nicki Minaj. Last February, Petras dropped the tantalizing 7-track EP, “Slut Pop,” which was entirely co-written and co-produced by the inimitable Dr. Luke.

Kim Petras made history by breaking barriers and becoming the first openly transgender woman to triumph in a coveted Grammy Award. The talented artist was honored with the Best Pop Duo award for her viral hit, “Unholy,” with Sam Smith. The moment was a surreal experience for Petras, who was completely blown away by the recognition. She described it as an “insane life moment” that was “so unexpected” and “completely incredible.”

It’s worth noting that while Petras is the first openly transgender woman who has won a Grammy, Wendy Carlos was the first one to receive the prestigious accolade. Carlos won three Grammy Awards in 1970, paving the way for future generations of transgender artists like Petras to make their mark in the industry.

On winning a Grammy

“I was so excited when I got the call to be in Sports Illustrated. It’s very iconic, and many very iconic people have done it before, so [it was a] big dream come true for me. I think what you do is the most important thing, not what your gender is.”

Notable singer and Grammy Awardee Kim Petras added, “No matter what your gender or sexuality or any of that stuff is, it’s about what you make of life, and it’s about what’s inside of you and all of that, so I hope that can be inspiring to people.” I want to see more equality where labels, gender, xxxuality, and skin color don’t separate people so much, and it’s about what you do, what you stand for, and what’s inside. Being yourself and being unapologetic about it is enough.”
