Doja Cat has excited fans by revealing her upcoming album ‘Scarlet’ on social media, marking the anticipated follow-up to her 2021 release ‘Her World.’ Scheduled for a September 22 release, the album’s details remain undisclosed. While the recent single ‘Paint The Town Red’ dropped on August 4, her second release of 2023, including the earlier comeback single ‘Attention’ from June, it’s uncertain if they will be part of ‘Scarlet.’
In the wake of ‘Planet Her,’ Doja Cat has been active, contributing to the Billboard Top 10 track ‘Vegas’ for the Elvis soundtrack and participating in the remix of SZA’s Number One hit ‘Kill Bill’. The artist also announced her inaugural North American arena tour, slated for later this year, with support from Ice Spice and Doechii.
However, Doja Cat‘s social media journey has faced ups and downs. She lost around 180,000 Instagram followers and deactivated her Threads account after expressing dissatisfaction with fans in several posts. Despite losing approximately 500,000 followers, she remains optimistic, sharing her relief at reconnecting with those who genuinely appreciate her.
